Peter’s birthday last weekend started with cake (for me) while on a not-as-frantic-as-usual last minute present buying spree. Then bananas and cinnamon on toast, and breakfast at one of our favourite cafes across town. Such gorgeous home made bread! And soda bread! And potato cakes! (no need for tea after that lot)
This weekend we’re off on an adventure, and then I’ve got an entire week off work. I’m planning to pop in here every single day with stories of garden pottering, cheery cups of tea, long walks (and a very long run), and a finished Olympic Tortoise. Can’t wait.
