what was I saying about spring?

BEFORE 10kSo much for it starting to feel like spring. It’s felt more like the depths of winter round here this week.

Still, we got out and did a 10k race last Sunday, hills and snow flurries and all, and a mighty fine job of it we did too – 24 minutes faster than I’ve ever done a 10k race before! (Not quite as impressive as it sounds – I’ve been very slow in the past…). My sister didn’t even beat me this time, we crossed the line at exactly the same time. She kept bleating on about not being used to the hills, but I think I would have beaten her anyway…

AFTER 10kMore adventures planned this weekend (not involving running, fortunately) – photographs and cheerfulness next week, I promise!

Have you been up to anything exciting this week? Or just snuggled up keeping warm?

That was such a good result time-wise….I reckon your sister knows when she’s beaten! (Sorry L!) 😉
    See you later! xx

That’s fighting talk! Come and do Port Sunlight and I’ll knock 24 minutes off your new time!

  3. Mum says:

Now that really is fighting talk, I’ll have to be there to see that one!!
