paddling at padley gorge

Dashing through today, so I’ll leave you with some pictures from a walk I had with a friend a couple of weeks ago before the snow, to Padley Gorge, a gorgeous National Trust place not far from here, which I’d never been to before. It was very cold, and felt strangely autumnal, not a trace of spring. I must go back when things are a little warmer! Is there anywhere close to you that you haven’t made it to yet? When will you go?

  1. That looks like a wonderful walk! I particularly liked the path through the woods, with it’s twisted trees. I think Derbyshire has so much to visit I’m not surprised you’ve not seen it all!

We’ve had several Christmas holidays in various bits of Derbyshire, and always left feeling there was lots more to explore.

    Hope we’ll be back!
