absenteeism

DSCF6257You might wonder where I’ve been of late. Nowhere in particular, just dashing from one place to another – enjoying myself, but never really feeling like I’ve got anything much to say here. I’m also going through a phase of intense hatred of my camera, which seems incapable of taking a decent photograph. So I often find myself with nothing much to say, and no pictures of anything, and so I potter about reading other people’s blogs instead of coming in here.

Still, all that will change this week! I’m off to buy a shiny new camera, and PrOmiSe that I will come in here and natter away about something-and-nothing like in the old days.

In the meantime, here’s a couple of photos of my completely out of control willow hedge.

DSCF6264DSCF6265Eek! I made a small attempt to weave a beautiful round window to see the honeysuckle through, but it hasn’t quite worked, as you can see… I think a little pruning may be required.

Back soon with pictures of things I’ve made, and tales of places I’ve been and stories of cakes I’ve eaten…

You have been missed. I am always happy when I see a post from you.

I’m happy to see you posting too! Loved your previous one with the before and after photos of the garden, really impressive amount of work gone on there, and gave me some insights about having to get rid of plants, and prune them, if the garden’s going to be the way *I* want it, rather than simply get overgrown. I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying yourself, and hope the search for the camera is enjoyable too – I definitely need a better camera, partly to take blog photos, so I’d be really interested to hear what you’ve got.
