Well after all my good intentions yesterday, just look at what the pesky slugs have done to my mizuna seedlings!
Carefully nurtured and kept alive since 31st August (a long time for me), lovingly repotted to give more room for their little roots – and now all cruelly munched off in one disasterous night.
Oddly, everything else in the mini greenhouse is fine. Are they more hardy? Less tasty? Or was it because these were touching the side of the greenhouse?
Whatever it was, there’ll be no mizuna for us. If only they’d waited, I don’t mind sharing.
Woe betide the next slug i find inside my house – I won’t be as charitable as i normally am!
